Air ambulance called to Goudhurst after girl involved in a cycling accident

A girl was taken to hospital after being involved in a cycling accident near Bedgebury Forest.

The 15-year-old cyclist suffered injuries to her head, abdomen, leg, arm and hand after falling from her bike as she rode down a hill.

An air and land ambulance were called to Bedgebury Visitor Centre in Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst just after 4pm yesterday.

She was treated at the scene before being taken to Pembury Hospital in Tunbridge Wells.
