Driver careers off road near Sissinghurst and hits a fence and a tree

A car left the road this morning and collided with a tree and a fence.

The accident happened on the A262 Sissinghurst Road, between Biddenden and Sissinghurst, at around 7am.

Police and Secamb attended, but the female driver was not seriously injured.

The road was temporarily closed in both directions between the junction with Hareplain Road and Sissinghurst Castle, but has since re-opened.

No other vehicles were involved.
