Woman held after hammer attack on 30 cars

MORE than 30 cars were damaged when a woman apparently went berserk with a hammer in a Kent street.

Car windows were smashed and bodywork dented, prompting a flurry of calls from disturbed residents to police in Tunbridge Wells in the early hours of Friday. The incident happened in the town's York Road.

Police said later that a 28-year-old woman, from Tunbridge Wells, had been arrested and detained in connection with the incident.
