Suspected drug dealer arrested outside hotel in Tunbridge Wells

A suspected cocaine dealer who was arrested outside a hotel has appeared in court.

Police were on patrol in the Mount Ephraim area of Tunbridge Wells just before midday yesterday when they spoke to the driver of a Mini.

Suspecting he was involved in the supply of Class A drugs, the officers from the town's community policing team searched him and seized cocaine and cash.

Sinan Kizil, of Napier Road, Newcastle upon Tyne was arrested and a search of a room in the hotel led to the discovery of more cocaine in a suitcase.

He was later charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and remanded to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court earlier today.
