Megan safe but chatline fears increase

KENT schoolgirl Megan Doran is back with her family after vanishing for six days but she has heightened concerns over children using internet chatrooms.

Initially, there were fears the Tonbridge Grammar School pupil may have been abducted by someone she met online after spending much of her Easter holidays chatting.

Police and other agencies now feel many parents will again fear that their children aren't safe.

Megan, 13, from Tunbridge Wells, was found on Thursday afternoon at a flat in London after a woman she had been staying with recognised her from her photograph in a newspaper.
