Tonbridge man charged with driving crimes and drug possession

A man has been charged with a string of offences including taking a car without the owner's consent and being in possession of class A drugs.

Dario Salvato, of Quincewood Gardens in Tonbridge, was detained by police at 11.30am on Tuesday after officers stopped him while driving a car on Hilden Park Road.

The 35-year-old was arrested and has since been charged with taking a vehicle without the owner's consent, two counts of driving whilst disqualified, two counts of driving without insurance and possession of class A drugs.

He has been bailed to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 25.
