Emergency services attend former hoverport site in Sandwich Road, Ramsgate after concerns for man’s welfare

Emergency services were called to a former hoverport site following concerns for a man's welfare.

Police, Coastguard, paramedics and the fire service were in attendance at the site in Sandwich Road, Ramsgate – between Cliffsend and Pegwell bay – at 4.25pm yesterday.

The man was located and passed into the care of healthcare professionals.

The ambulance service, fire service and the coastguard have been approached for a comment.
