Car overturns on Thanet Way London-bound carriageway near Marshside turn off

A man has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on the London-bound carriageway of the Thanet Way.

Police were called to the scene near Herne Bay of the flipped black Mini Cooper at about 1.45pm.

The driver was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

The road was closed while the vehicle was recovered and had reopened by 4pm.
