Appeal after burglars storm into Ramsgate home and threaten victim with knife and hammer

Two men have forced their way into a home and threatened a victim with a knife and hammer while demanding money and drugs.

It happened at a house near the centre of Ramsgate at about 5am yesterday.

After storming in, the men took the victim’s partner to a cash point where they forced him to withdraw and hand over money. Police said he suffered bruising.

One of the suspects is described as white, 5ft 10in, of slim build and wearing a black face mask, a black and grey dirty hooded top or jacket, with a tear in the right-hand side showing grey underneath, and black woollen gloves.

The second man was 5ft 9in and of slim build. He was wearing a black ski mask, which showed only his eyes and lips, dark or black woollen gloves and dark coloured clothing.

Both men spoke with a local accent.
