Firefighters are tackling a blaze on a Sittingbourne industrial estate this afternoon.

Crews were called to Crown Quay Lane just after 3.30pm to reports a small pile of cut wood, fencing and undergrowth were ablaze.

The site is used by several businesses including suppliers of concrete and other building materials.

Two fire engines remain at the scene and no one has been reported injured.

A fire service spokesman said: "They successfully extinguished the fire just before 4.20pm and are currently damping down."
