Sheerness East will be hoping to get the new year off to a winning start when they entertain Stansfeld O&B Club on Saturday.

Dave Down’s side have yet to taste victory in 13 Vandanel Kent County League, Premier Division fixtures and sit well adrift at the bottom of the table with just a single point.

Stansfeld are in third place. They are within sight of leaders Orpington and have won their last three league games, including a 2-1 win over East in November.

Sheppey travel to AFC Sevenoaks for a second round tie in the Eastern Section of the Les Leckie Cup.
