House fire in Dippers Close, Kemsing

Crews have tackled a fire which broke out in a Kemsing house.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) were called to Dippers Close at 12.15pm.

A fire on the ground floor of the two-storey property was extinguished using a hose reel jet.

Two occupants, a woman and a man, were given first aid and oxygen therapy by firefighters before being passed into the care of paramedics.

Crews left the scene shortly before 1pm.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
