Police need witnesses to M20 Boxing Day crash

Police officers investigating a collision on the M20 on Boxing Day are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Emergency services were called at 10.50pm to a four-vehicle pile-up between Junction Two (Wrotham) and Junction One (Swanley) on the London-bound carriageway.

The collision involved a Jaguar XKR, a Mercedes SLK, a Volkswagen Tiguan and a Peugeot 407.

The driver of the Jaguar, a 63-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he remains with serious head injuries. Other drivers and passengers also received injuries.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw any of the vehicles in the lead-up to the collision, to make contact.
