VILLAGERS are facing a nervous week as the Government prepares to release its long-awaited aviation white paper.

But there seems no letting-up in the campaigning against plans for an airport at Cliffe.

Transport Secretary Alistair Darling is facing a deluge of more than 1,000 anti-airport Christmas cards from as far away as Australia.
