TV programme spotlights stresses of moving home

ARE you going through the house-moving process this summer?

Do you want the chance to chuck out your clutter? And do you have a handyman at your disposal to put up those curtain rails and plumb in that washing machine?

If so, RDF television - makers of Channel 4’s Faking It and Wife Swap - want to hear from you.

The London-based TV company is looking for people interested in taking part in Moving Day, a new ITV1 Daytime series about the stresses and strains of moving home.

You could be buying or letting in London, Manchester, Scotland, Essex or on the South Coast - anywhere in the UK.

You could be moving in together or moving apart, moving in with friends or leaving the parental home. You could be first-time buyers or way up the property ladder.

Whatever your circumstances, the show’s presenters will be on hand to offer help and tips on your moving day.

Sunita Shroff, of ITV’s A House in the Country, will be there to offer advice on the move out... perhaps suggesting which pieces of furniture you should keep, and which you should put in the skip.

A spokesperson said: “We would need a couple of days of your time - including your moving day - and in return offer a helping hand along the way.”

So, if you’re moving from the beginning of June and it sounds like something you would be interested in taking part in - then contact the company on: movingday@rdfmedia.com or phone 020 7013 4398.
