Witnesses to bottle attack sought

Medway revellers who may have witnessed an assault with a bottle on a man at a bar in Dartford last weekend are asked to contact police.

The man's head and face were injured in the attack.

Police in North Kent are asking for anyone who was in the Crush Wine Bar, in the town’s High Street, to contact them them about the assault, which happened in the early hours of Saturday, August 8, between 12.30 and 1.30am.

A spokesman for Kent Police, said: “A 20-year-old man was assaulted with a glass bottle in Crush Wine Bar.

“He suffered considerable injuries to his head and face.

“One person has been arrested and is helping police with their inquires, but officers are hoping to find witnesses to the attack to help further.”
