Van rammed into cars after failing to stop for police in Medway

A white van rammed a police car in an attempt to get away after failing to stop.

The incident occurred in Medway in the early hours of this morning.

A stinger and tactical pursuit and containment tactics were used to bring the van to a stop.

The driver has breached bail conditions and is disqualified from driving.

They were arrested and taken into custody.

Police have been contacted for comment.
