Two charged with burglary and theft after cars stolen from home in Twydall

A teenager and a man have been charged after a burglary at a home in Twydall.

Two cars were reported stolen from a property in Hawthrone Avenue, Gillingham, in the early hours of Thursday, April 23, while the victim slept.

The same morning, police officers arrested Cobaine Holden, 23 from Littlehampton, West Sussex, and a 17-year-old from Bromley on suspicion of the offence.

Both have been charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

They appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, April 24, and were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, May 22.

Both cars which were stolen have been recovered.
