Man seriously hurt in assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in an assault.

The 30-year-old man was found by paramedics on Watling Street at the junction with London Road last Wednesday, June 23.

It is believed the assault occured between 11.30pm and 12.15am.

The man suffered fractures to his face and skull and is still receiving treatment in hospital.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has information about the assault is asked to contact officers at Medway police station on 01634 792644 or alternatively call Kent CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
