Man remanded in custody for driving offences

A motorist has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to four driving offences in Chatham.

Duane Morris, 43, of Sydney Road, Sidcup, appeared at Medway Magistrates court yesterday (Thursday) charged with aggravated vehicle taking, failing to stop for police, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

He pleaded guilty to all four offences after being arrested near Anchorage House, on Wednesday (August 26).

Morris has been remanded in custody to next appear at Maidstone Crown Court at a later date.
