Man arrested after reported robbery at store in Churchill Avenue, Chatham, has now been bailed by police

Detectives investigating a robbery at a shop in Chatham where a man threatened two people before stealing a quantity of cash are appealing for witnesses.

The robbery happened at the My Local shop in Churchill Avenue, Chatham, at around 11.30pm on Friday, March 18.

A 32-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of robbery and he has now been bailed pending further inquiries until Monday, May 23.
