Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish knows his side’s ENIHL Division 1 South title destiny could slip out of their hands when they visit the Isle of Wight on Saturday.

Mos lie second ahead of the game against leaders Wightlink Raiders and the home clash with Cardiff Devils at Silver Blades on Sunday.

Invicta failed to complete two wins last weekend when they went down 9-6 at fourth-placed Romford on Saturday.

They did bounce back with a 6-2 home win over Oxford City Stars on Sunday, which put them five points behind the Raiders with three games in hand.

It means victory for the hosts tomorrow would see Invicta relying on the Raiders to drop points to let them back into the race.

Parrish said: "It is not a season-defining weekend but if we were to lose the two points on Saturday it means it is out of our hands and we will be relying on them to lose.

"It has to be a four-point weekend for us. We haven’t had one of those for a while. We have to dig a bit deeper than we have done to get back on track."

Tim Smith (pictured) is likely to miss the weekend with a knee injury, while Parrish is also trying to bring in a defenceman after Ryan Giles opted to hang up his skates to continue his recuperation from a serious car accident nearly a year ago.
