Crews stop fire spreading to houses in Heron Way, Chatham

Firefighters stopped a blaze spreading to homes in Chatham, this morning.

Crews were called at about 4.30am to Heron Way, where bins and fence panels had caught alight between two homes.

They were on the scene for an hour and were able to contain the blaze before any damage was caused.
