Coastguard called after dinghy capsizes in Gillingham

A sailing dinghy which was repeatedly capsizing off Gillingham marina was towed to safety yesterday (Sunday).

Medway Coastguard and colleagues from Sheerness received a call at 2.04pm to the vessel, which had two people on board.

It was towed into Wilsonian sailing club in Hoo before Thames Coastguard arrived on the scene.

Medway Coastguard met the craft on arrival.
