Two arrested after cannabis factory found in Chatham High Street

A large haul of cannabis plants and the equipment to grow them have been found in a town centre.

Officers executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Chatham High Street this afternoon.

Inside, they found a large number of cannabis plants and cultivation equipment.

Officers have arrested two people in connection with the investigation.

They remain in custody, and inquiries are ongoing.
