Body found in searching for missing Snodland man

A body has been found in the search for a missing man.

Police became concerned for the welfare of Jay Carr, from Snodland, who hadn't been seen since yesterday.

Officers involved in the search discovered a body near the town at around 1.30pm.

A police spokesman said: "Formal identification has not yet taken place, however the family of a 20-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday, September 19, have been informed.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner."
