Stacey Solomon drops in on the 2018 Loose Duck Race

TV star Stacey Solomon was on hand to kick off an annual duck race in the heart of a Maidstone village.

The former X Factor contestant took up her position ahead of 2018’s Loose Duck Race put on by the Loose Amenities Association.

The presenter was helping put together a package for ITV’s Loose Women which invited a set of Morris dancers from the village to perform at their studios earlier this month.

Dozens of rubber ducks were sent on their way down the river from Brooks Field at 1.30pm.

Those attending were also treated to a Punch and Judy show as well as craft stalls, a tea tent and a barbecue.

All proceeds from ticket sales go to the Loose Amenities Association.
