Police called to people walking on M20 motorway

Two people walking along the hard shoulder of the M20 have caused delays for rush-hour motorists this morning.

One lane of the London bound carriageway between Junctions 3 (M26) and 4 (A228 Castle Way) was closed as a precaution.

Police were alerted to the pair at 7.30am and a patrol is currently at the scene.

Traffic is coping well. The road should be reopened soon.
