POLICE have released CCTV images of a vehicle and four people they wish to trace in connection to a series of metal thefts in a Kent town.

Several incidents have reportedly taken place around the area of Maidstone Grammar School.

The CCTV footage, taken on January 17, shows a silver 4 x 4 and four individuals near to where 30ft of lead flashing worth around £100 had been stolen from the roof of a house on Barton Road.

It is believed the offenders climbed onto the garage roof to gain access to the lead.

Anyone with information on the vehicle pictured or about the crime itself should contact police in Mid Kent on 01622 690055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
