Arrests made during police investigation in Headcorn Road, Staplehurst

Police have made three arrests as part of an ongoing investigation centred on a front garden.

Neighbours reported seeing several police vehicles, a forensics team and a private ambulance in Headcorn Road near the junction of Hurst Close earlier today.

A police spokesman said tonight: "I can confirm warrants have been carried out in Staplehurst in connection with an ongoing investigation.

"Three people from the area have been arrested between October 8 and 9. All of those have now been released under investigation."

We understand police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
