MP for Chatham and Aylesford, Tracey Crouch, has been targeted on Twitter with vile death threats.
The post, sent under the false name LeonbrittanMP, was received by the Conservative at around midnight.
It reads: "Crouch, Tracey MP, die now b4 the people kill u, u R nothing but a **** soon to be a dead ****. BURN THE ******* MP's OF GENOCIDE.
The 38-year-old then re-tweeted and reported the message, saying: "Why do people think they can say things like this?"
Tracey has reported the tweet to the police, who said they are investigating.
The same message was sent to all MPs, including Maidstone and the Weald MP Helen Grant, Sittingbourne and Sheppey MP Gordon Henderson and Thanet North MP Sir Roger Gale.
