A man was arrested near Maidstone last night on suspicion of stealing a BMW.
The 29-year-old, from Boughton Lees, Ashford, was stopped and detained in The Square, Lenham at 9.20pm.
He was also believed to be in possession of cannabis.
He has since been released from custody, pending further investigations.
