Man airlifted to hospital after M20 crash

A man was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash on the M20 on Saturday.

Junction Four (Leybourne) was closed coastbound for almost four hours after a blue Ford Fiesta colldied with a barrier at about 1.30pm.

The air ambulance landed on the motorway (pictured above by Keith Turnbull) to attend the incident. The man was taken to a hospital in Essex.

Police are urging witnesses to the incident to come forward on 01732 771055.
