EXPENSIVE Indian jewellery was among valuables stolen by intruders who broke into a home in Ashford Road, Maidstone.

Cash and a digital camera were also taken but police say they would like to retrieve the jewellery especially as it is of great sentimental value to the owner.

In total, the property taken is estimated to be worth around £3,300. The burglars entered the property by forcing open the patio doors with a garden fork and a spade.

It happened at some stage between 6pm on Saturday, October 27, and 9.50am the following day.
