Witnesses are being sought after a young woman was seriously injured in a crash in Headcorn.

Two vehicles - a Vauxhall Corsa and Land Rover Freelander - collided in Maidstone Road in the early hours of Friday.

A woman in her 20s, who was driving the Corsa, suffered serious injuries in the smash at around 12.35am.

Kent Police are now trying to trace a BMW driver reported to be in the area at the time, who might have witnessed the crash.
