Police are appealing for information following the crash.

A driver is being hunted today after a motorcyclist was seriously hurt when he came off his bike in a crash in West Malling.

The 47-year-old man was badly injured in the smash on the A228 at about 6.30pm last Thursday.

Now Kent Police want to speak to the driver of a grey Mercedes about the collision between the Kings Hill roundabout and the M20.

PC Claire Cheyne said: "We believe the other vehicle involved may have been a grey Mercedes E-Class, possibly with a 55-registered number plate and that the driver was male.

"But as the driver didn't stop we need to speak to them to complete our enquiries into what happened.

"We are keeping an open mind and encourage anyone with any information about what happened, or for the driver themselves, to contact us by calling 01732 379325."
