Alina Korosteliova, of Quarry Road, Maidstone, charged with assault following incident at Archbishop's Palace

A Maidstone woman has appeared in court charged with five counts of assault following an incident at Archbishop's Palace.

Kent Police were called yesterday at 12.41pm to reports Alina Korosteliova, 31, had attacked three female members of Kent County Council staff after refusing to leave the registry office and inquest court.

She then allegedly assaulted two police officers.

None of the staff required hospital treatment.

Korosteliova, of Quarry Road, is also accused of violent behaviour in custody.

She was remanded to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court today.
