Abseil off the roof for Guide Dogs

A thrilling abseil will be staged from the roof of the Fremlin Walk shopping centre, Maidstone, again this year.

The event, on Saturday, April 25, will raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Kent Messenger’s chosen charity for the year.

A minimum of 50 people are needed to take part in the 100ft descent.

Fremlin Walk is sponsoring the event. Additional sponsors are needed to make a donation of £650 to cover the cost of equipment. Participants must raise at least £75, of which 70 per cent will go to Guide Dogs for the Blind and 30 per cent to the Kent Walking Bus Project.
