Wings offer cut-price admission

Welling v Bath

Welling have taken on the Christmas spirit for Saturday's Blue Square South game against Bath with cheaper admission prices for their younger fans.

All children accompanied by a paying adult will be admitted for £1 and the first 100 children through the gate will also receive a Christmas gift.

The adults are not forgotten either with a Christmas drink and cake on offer at the turnstiles.

On the pitch, Welling boss Andy Ford is keen to see the partnership of Charlie Sheringham and on-loan Moses Ademola blossom.

Both players scored in the excellent 2-0 midweek FA Trophy win over Weymouth.

Ford said: "We've had a few pairings this year and I thought Baker and Loui was going to be the one but that didn't last very long.

"Charlie Sheringham has taken his goals well in the last few games and Moses has the pace to get in behind teams.

"But partnerships don't happen after two or three games, we need to try and keep them together for a longer period and that's why aim is - whether that's going to be possible, I don't know."

The Wings are without suspended defender Graeme Andrews but welcome back Jack Parkinson after he was cup tied in midweek.
