IWAN ROBERTS has added an extra chapter to his autobiography in which he describes the ups and downs of life at Priestfield.

The former Norwich striker doesn’t hold back, either, as he writes of his hatred of then-manager Stan Ternent, which ended with Roberts moving to Cambridge on loan.

The book – All I Want For Christmas – charts Roberts’ career, and originally ended on a happier note after Norwich’s promotion season in 2004.

Roberts doesn’t hold back in his feelings on Ternent. He writes: "It just hasn’t worked out for me here, basically because I hate the boss, Stan Ternent.

"He’s old school, big on discipline, but I’m just too old to be bullied. Fair enough, Graham Taylor and Bruce Rioch were old school, but had achieved something in their careers.

"What’s on Ternent’s CV? Burnley? Bury?"
