Welling United v Dorchester

WELLING manager Neil Smith has warned his players that he will rotate his squad ahead of a busy Bank Holiday schedule.

The Wings picked up their first win of the season at Hayes & Yeading last weekend but Smith is keen to shuffle his pack again ahead Saturday's home game with Dorchester and Monday's trip to Thurrock.

Smith said: "It's going to be a big weekend for the squad as they are two difficult games back to back and we need to make sure we are ready for both of them.

"Whoever starts on Saturday may not play on Monday as we will need to be fresh to take something out of our game."

Midfielder Kevin James, who was only named as a substitute during the midweek defeat at Cambridge, has left the club with a view to joining Stevenage. Smith has replaced him with former Braintree and Tonbridge midfielder Daniel Maxwell.

Leon Solomon (knee) is in contention to return against Dorchester.
