Rugger club's key signings

AYLESFORD Rugby Club have made two key signings, including experienced prop Stuart Anderson, from National League 3 side Westcombe Park, as they continue to strengthen their first team squad.

As well as the 29-year-old Anderson, scrum half Nipper Garrett made his debut for Aylesford earlier this month.

Garrett, a former Armed Services player, is seeking to concentrate on his coaching career.

Anderson not only adds his immense physical presence but brings with him a wealth of experience having played league rugby with London Scottish, Bedford & Camberley.

Having moved to Kings Hill, Anderson has watched the 1st XV on a number of occasions and has been impressed by what he has seen.

Adrian Futers, Aylesford's Rugby Development Officer said: “Stuart is one of the most experienced props within Kent. It is a credit to all that has been achieved at Aylesford that players of his quality want to join us.”
