Cardiff Dragons 5 Invicta Dynamos 5

A LATE goal from Jordy Black earned Invicta Dynamos a 5-5 draw at Cardiff Dragons on Sunday.

The Dynamos twice had to come from two goals down as they maintained their unbeaten start to the English National Ice Hockey League Cup.

Cardiff, who had to withdraw from the league last week because they could not fulfil their home fixtures, quickly went ahead with goals from David James and Michael Price.

The Dynamos hit back through Grant Baxter, and turned the game on its head early in the second period with two goals in eleven seconds from Alex Shaw and Jordy Black.

Price scored his second to level for the Dragons, who then restored their two goal advantage at the beginning of the third period.

However, Jamie Smith brought the scores back to 5-4 on 52 minutes, before man-of-the-match Black hit the equaliser with two minutes left on the clock.
