KEV PARRISH: "Maybe a couple of them think the play-offs are going to be easy"

COACH Kevin Parrish is hoping for a marked improvement from his Invicta Dynamos side after describing their performance on Sunday as dismal.

Although the Dynamos beat Oxford City Stars 4-1 to claim a victory in their first ENIHL play-off game, Parrish said the performance wasn’t acceptable.

The Mos travel to Oxford for the return game this weekend, and Parrish said: "While it was good to get the two points, the game didn’t go very well.

"We seemed a little bit lacklustre beforehand, there was lots of laughing and joking in the dressing room, and maybe a couple of them think the play-offs are going to be easy after the season we’ve had.

"It was pretty dismal really, and we need to pick it up for the weekend."

Strikes from Andy Smith and Kev Lake put the Dynamos two goals up after the first period, and that lead was doubled when Jordy Black and Peter Carey netted in the second.
