Lillywhites dig in for a point

Hampton & Richmond 1 Bromley 1

A depleted Bromley side came away from their Blue Square South trip to Hampton & Richmond with a point on Saturday.

Both goals came in a three-minute spell before the break. The Lillywhites took the lead on 38 minutes when Loui Fazakerly's cross was headed into his own net by full-back Graham Harper.

But the home side were level in the 41st minute when Donal O'Sullivan was adjudged to have brought down Lawrence Yaku in the box and Ryan Lake dispatched the penalty past Gareth Williams in the Bromley goal.

The visitors had to dig in for a point in the second half as Hampton dominated possession and Williams produced a fine display in difficult weather conditions.
