Kent table tennis star picked for England

Weald Table Tennis Club player Lewis Gray has been selected to play for England in the Slovak Cadet Open next month.

The 14-year-old from Benenden is the top-ranked under-15 player in the country and has already been selected to represent England at the Stockton 4* Junior Open Championships on November 15 and 16.

The Angley School, Cranbrook, pupil will travel to Eastern Europe from November 6-9.

He is currently spending half term training at the English Institute of Sport where he will be joined next week by Weald TTC teammate Yolanda King.
