Gillingham v Colchester

COLCHESTER visit Priestfield tonight and manager Ronnie Jepson insists fans will see an improvement from Saturday's defeat to Charlton.

Gills suffered a five-goal defeat to the Addicks but Jepson is likely to change a few players around in a bid to get a better performance out of his side.

He said: "We'll see an improvement as a few of the lads who were left on the line (against Charlton) will be starting.

"It will be another good test against a hard-working side who had an excellent season in the Championship last year.

"It will be difficult, which is what we want. The players will have no two better workouts than these two games at Priestfield against Charlton and Colchester."

Simon Royce is likely to remain in goal, with new signing Derek Stillie on the bench again for the match, while Gary Mulligan and Mark Bentley are set to be re-instated into the starting eleven. Duncan Jupp and Kelvin Jack will both miss out through injury.
