FORMER Charlton head coach Iain Dowie is back in football after being named as the new boss at Coventry City.

The 42-year-old was in charge at The Valley for 12 league matches earlier this season after succeeding Alan Curbishley in the summer.

He left the club in November with the Addicks sitting bottom of the Premiership, despite spending £11million on new players.
