Dynamos stage impressive fightback

Invicta Dynamos produced a superb display of fightback hockey to defeat Streatham Redskins 5-2 in South London last night.

Milan Kostolny, Elliot Andrews, Karl Lennon, Adam Copland and Laurence Billing scored the goals, as Invicta increased their winning streak to five games.

"We were awful in the first period,” head coach Kevin Parrish said. “It was the worst display we’ve produced all year. But after that first 20 minutes we dominated the game.”

Two goals down going into the first intermission, Invicta came out all guns blazing in the second, out-shooting their ENIHL South 1 rivals 16-2 and turning the game on its head with three goals from Kostolny, Andrews and Lennon.

Markers from Copland and Billing then killed off the game in the third period.

One negative to come from the evening was the suspected concussion received by forward Jamie Dancey, after he fell awkwardly into the boards. The full prognosis of his injury will be known later this week.
