Coventry 0 - Gillingham 0

Gillingham defender Chris Hope nearly snatched a dramatic late winner with a header that was cleared off the line seven minutes from the end of Saturday's goalless draw at Highfield Road.

Hope connected from Simon Osborn's corner only to see his effort cleared off the line by Coventry midfielder Vincente Engonga.

Gillingham created the best chances and Danny Spiller was unlucky with a 30-yard drive that struck the underside of the

Coventry crossbar in the fifth minute.

Coventry never extended a solid Gillingham defence and goalkeeper Jason Brown was a spectator throughout.

It was only Coventry's third point at home since Christmas.
